Representative Ty Cobb

In a deed transfer dated May 28 and submitted to the Maury County register of deeds Thursday, General Motors’ Saturn Corporation has given ownership of 98.44 acres of the land that is home to the Rippavilla Plantation to Rippavilla Inc, a nonprofit 301-C corporation.

The deed signed by Saturn Corporation President Jill Lajdziak and notarized by Wayne County, Mich., notary Kathleen M. Rentenbach lists the selling price as $1.
